Unity Schools Partnership
The Unity Schools Partnership is made up of schools located on the Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire borders that has built up its reputation based on its school sharing the same values.
The Unity Schools Partnership recognises the unique characteristics of each of their school communities. Each member school has its own distinctive school culture which is recognised and celebrated while the Trust oversees a partnership that respects, sustains and supports.
St Edward’s Church of England Academy is proud and honoured to be the first school in London to join the highly successful multi-academy trust.
The Partnership acknowledges what is special about St Edward’s and will work to enhance the defining features of the school. They encourage cultural diversity, celebrate the special qualities of each school and recognise the need for the St Edward’s community to continue to develop and grow.
The Unity Schools Partnership model is about creating interdependence. St Edward’s will be supported to grow to be more self-sustaining than a standalone academy, less dependent than a local authority school and more independent than schools in corporate academy chains. The relationship with the Partnership will bring a wealth of benefits to St Edward’s Church of England Academy and all students and families at the school.
We know that the exciting partnership with the Unity Schools Partnership will help us to improve the life chances of all the students at St Edward’s Academy; they will truly live ‘Life in all its fullness’.
